It is a curious characteristic of the non-defensive disposition that it is like a honey-jar to flies. Nothing is brought to it and much is taken away. Around a soft, yielding, unselfish disposition men swarm naturally. They sense this generosity, this non-protective attitude from afar.
His kindheartedness was even greater than his generosity, for the one knew no bounds, while the other, of necessity, had its limits.
Constant kindness can accomplish much. As the sun makes ice melt, kindness causes misunderstanding, mistrust, and hostility to evaporate.

When given the choice between being right or kind, choose kind.
Love and kindness are never wasted. They always make a difference. They bless the one who receives them, and they bless you, the giver.
My mom told me, it’s better to trust people than to doubt them. She said that people aren’t born with kind hearts. When we’re born, all we have are desires for food and material things. Selfish instincts, I guess. But she said that kindness is something that grows inside of each person’s body, but it’s up to us to nurture that kindness in our hearts. That’s why kindness is different for every person. Wishes are given at birth, that's why they are simple and understandable. Kindness is something that everyone creates themselves, so it's so easy to overlook it or mistake it for hypocrisy.
Everyone said that he was too nice. How can one be too nice?
— Why can't you just be nice?
— Because the world isn't nice.
A kind heart is a fountain of gladness, making everything in its vicinity freshen into smiles.
