There a girl who's crippled by anxiety and can't move
when she looks in the mirror. She smiles when everyone is looking but cries when she's alone. She hides because she's terrified to show herself. My world is so empty. My world is so big and cold. I want joy and hope. Dean air where I can finally breathe.
We all have mental health in the same way that we all have physical health. It’s OK to have depression, it’s OK to have anxiety, it’s OK to have an adjustment disorde.
When you're feeling anxious remember that you're still you. You are not your anxiety.
Don't believe every worried thought you have. Worried thoughts are notoriously inaccurate.
— Do you feel more anxious when you're with others or when you're alone?
— Both?
Darkness does that. It speaks fears that, left alone, remain unspoken, yet real.
