Right, well, the president of the United States is fucking lying!
It’s always easier dealing with other people’s families than your own.
We belong to a generation that watched our future get stolen out from under us. The American Dream our parents knew has been hijacked by men who are willing to lie, cheat and steal to protect their wealth. Used to be if you got good grades, you got into the right school, got the right job. And after 15 years of hard work, you get your name on the door. But that world is gone.
Maybe the swing will slow down and you'll hear,
In my words, don't say goodbye, but come back.
— Sounds like old times down there.
— Yes, it does.
— He didn't keep his part of the bargain.
— Which part?
— To spend his life pining for you and die miserable and alone.

— Seems like a long time ago.
— Not so long, Jo. He's here, isn't he?
"In case nobody has told you," she said, "this is the United States of America, where nobody has a right to rely on anybody else – where everybody learns to make his or her own way. I'm here to test you," she said, "but there's a basic rule for life I'd like to teach you, too, and you'll thank me for it in years to come. "Paddle your own canoe."

guiding us through the storms of
uncertainty."
Frodo Baggins: — Where are you taking us?
Aragorn: — Into the Wild.
Meriadoc Brandybuck: — How do we know this Strider is a friend of Gandalf?
Frodo Baggins: — I think a servant of the enemy would look fairer... — and feel fouler.
Meriadoc Brandybuck: — He's foul enough.
Frodo Baggins: — We have no choice but to trust him.
Samwise Gamgee: — But where is he leading us?
Aragorn: — To Rivendell, Master Gamgee. To the house of Elrond.
Samwise Gamgee: — Did you hear that? Rivendell. We're going to see the Elves.
